In 1995, soon to be founder of TBA Suppressors, Todd Brueckmann, sent his Ruger MK II to a silencer manufacturer. When the firearm was returned it would not shoot correctly. The bullets were key-holing terribly and the performance of the package was bad. He sent it back to the manufacturer several times, but the manufacturer could not seem to resolve the problem. With Todd’s background in metallurgy, metal fabrication and machine work he was able to correct the issues himself. This was all the motivation he needed to get his manufacturers license.

In 1996, TBA Suppressors was born with a focus on making a silencer that was quieter, user friendly, more sleek and far more accurate. Since becoming a Class III manufacturer in early 1996, we have perfected the art of silencer manufacturing by using the feedback of customers in all areas of the firearms from bench rest shooters, hunters, and law enforcement.
